If you are going on a trip, is it important to choose your departure time?

  1. Yes, in order to complete the entire trip without having to take breaks.
  2. No, it is not necessary.
  3. Yes, among other reasons, to avoid being blinded by the sun.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: Yes, among other reasons, to avoid being blinded by the sun.

Yes. At sunrise and sunset, the sun is low, and if it is directly ahead, the glare makes it hard to see other vehicles. That is one reason you should choose your departure time carefully. You still need breaks, no matter what time you leave. In the image, the low sun is directly ahead of the driver.
