Can looking at an advertising sign near the road distract the driver of a vehicle?
- Only when driving at night and the sign is illuminated.
- No.
- Yes.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: Yes.
Yes. A billboard like the one on the right in the image draws your eyes away from the road so you can read it, even if only for a moment. This happens day and night, whether it is lit or not. Keep your eyes on the road and on anything that affects your driving.
