Question 7766
Which of the following is a risky driving behavior associated with young drivers?
- Show-off behavior when driving in a group.
- Greater caution behind the wheel when accompanied by children.
- Respect for traffic rules and signs when they are novice drivers.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: Show-off behavior when driving in a group.
With friends in the car, some young drivers try to show the group how well they handle the vehicle. This showing off leads to dares and racing and increases the risk of an accident. Driving more cautiously or following the rules reduces the risk, so these are not risky behaviors.
