Question 7526
Between sunset and sunrise, when riding on a road outside a built-up area, cyclists must use…
- a reflective vest.
- at least one luminous or reflective element visible from 150 meters.
- only the bicycle's lights.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: at least one luminous or reflective element visible from 150 meters.
At night on a road outside a built-up area, cyclists must use at least one light-emitting or reflective item visible from 150 meters away, in addition to the bicycle’s lights. A reflective vest works, but any other item that meets that condition is also acceptable. The cyclist in the image is wearing a reflective vest and has the rear light on.
