Question 7186
If you are driving on this road in heavy traffic, you may not change lanes to...
- pass another vehicle.
- leave the roadway.
- turn right.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: pass another vehicle.
In heavy traffic, when all lanes are occupied and each car is moving at the pace of the one ahead, you must not change lanes to pass. You may only change lanes to prepare to turn right or left, leave the roadway, or head in a particular direction.
