Question 7177
What are you required to do if you notice that another vehicle intends to pass you using the left lane adjacent to yours?
- Reduce your speed.
- Signal with your right turn signal that it may pass safely.
- Keep to the right edge of the roadway.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: Keep to the right edge of the roadway.
You must keep to the right edge of the roadway to give the other driver room, without accelerating or doing anything that gets in their way. You do not have to slow down unless a danger arises, or signal to them with your right turn signal.
