Question 7019

When you see this sign...

  1. you must drive at a moderate speed and, if necessary, stop the vehicle.
  2. you must sound the horn to warn of the vehicle's presence.
  3. you must turn on the hazard lights.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: you must drive at a moderate speed and, if necessary, stop the vehicle.

The children warning sign alerts you to a place with children nearby, such as a school or park. From that point on, you drive at a moderate speed and stop if necessary because a child may suddenly cross. Neither hazard lights nor the horn prevent that.
