Question 6771
What does the sign indicate on this one-way street?
- That stopping and parking are prohibited on the right side of the roadway.
- That stopping and parking are prohibited on both sides of the roadway.
- That only parking is prohibited on the right side of the roadway.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: That stopping and parking are prohibited on the right side of the roadway.
The red X on a blue background () prohibits stopping and parking, but only on the side of the roadway where the sign is posted—here, the right side. On a one-way street, this sign does not affect the left side.
