Question 6714
What do temporary directional panels indicate?
- That the roadway is permanently closed to traffic.
- They prohibit passage and indicate the direction of traffic.
- That it is a reversible lane.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: They prohibit passage and indicate the direction of traffic.
The temporary directional panel prohibits you from driving through the spot where it is placed, and its arrows show you which way traffic continues. In the image, it closes the left lane. It stays in place for the duration of road work or another disruption, not permanently.
