Question 6713
What does this series of flashing yellow lights indicate?
- They prohibit passing across the imaginary line that connects them.
- They indicate that the roadway is completely closed to traffic.
- They allow passing cautiously across the imaginary line that connects them.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: They prohibit passing across the imaginary line that connects them.
Yellow channelizing lights mean you must not cross the imaginary line connecting them, even when they flash. Do not confuse them with a flashing yellow traffic light, which does allow you to proceed with caution. A completely closed roadway is indicated by a different light: a steady red one.
