Question 6685

If you are driving on a road where this sign is posted, you should know that…

  1. I am approaching a road with a special danger or risk.
  2. the right lane directs me onto a temporary route due to road work.
  3. road work is being carried out on the roadway.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: road work is being carried out on the roadway.

The direction sign in the image has a yellow background and black lettering because it was installed for road work on the roadway, regardless of the type of road. It only indicates destinations; it does not warn of a special hazard or direct you onto a temporary route.
