Question 6628
Regarding driver assistance systems, what will happen when the lane departure system is defective?
- The driver will receive a warning that the camera cannot perform its function correctly.
- The driver will receive a warning to stop immediately.
- The system will prevent the vehicle's speed from exceeding 80 km/h.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: The driver will receive a warning that the camera cannot perform its function correctly.
If lane departure warning fails, the car tells you with a message that the camera can’t do its job properly, like “Cámara frontal no disponible” in the image. Don’t rely on that assistance while the problem lasts. The fault doesn’t require you to stop, and it doesn’t limit your speed.
