Question 6620
Which ADAS system detects deviations in the direction of the driver's gaze or head positions that indicate inattention to driving?
- The "Head-up Display".
- The "LTS or Lane Tracking System".
- The "Advanced Driver Distraction Warning system or DDR-ADR".
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: The "Advanced Driver Distraction Warning system or DDR-ADR".
The advanced driver distraction warning system, DDR-ADR, monitors your face using cameras inside the passenger compartment. If you turn your gaze or head away from the road, like the driver looking down in the image, it warns you to pay attention to traffic again. The head-up display projects information onto the windshield, but it doesn’t monitor the driver.
