Question 6541

You have just obtained your first driver's license, in the A2 category. Where must a novice driver display the V-13 "L plate" sign on their motorcycle?

  1. In a visible spot at the rear.
  2. On the left side at the rear.
  3. Anywhere, as long as it is visible.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: In a visible spot at the rear.

With your first driver's license, including an A2 license, you must display the L plate for one year. On a motorcycle, a visible location at the rear is enough; the left rear position is required on a passenger car. It must be at the rear, so just any visible location will not do.
