Question 6539
During a roadside technical inspection, the inspector determines that your truck must undergo a more thorough inspection. Where will this inspection be carried out?
- Always at a nearby fixed ITV station.
- At a mobile inspection unit or at a nearby fixed ITV station.
- Always at a mobile inspection unit.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: At a mobile inspection unit or at a nearby fixed ITV station.
At either location. The more thorough inspection takes place at a mobile inspection unit or, as soon as possible, at a nearby fixed ITV station, depending on the facilities available and what needs to be checked. If the mobile unit does not have the necessary equipment, the truck goes to the fixed station.
