Question 6534

A novice driver is required to display a green plate with a white "L" inside it. What dimensions must it have?

  1. 25 centimeters wide by 30 centimeters high.
  2. 19.50 centimeters high by 15 centimeters wide.
  3. 50 centimeters by 50 centimeters.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: 19.50 centimeters high by 15 centimeters wide.

The L plate for a passenger car measures 19.5 cm high by 15 cm wide, so it is slightly taller than it is wide. For motorcycles, three-wheeled vehicles, quadricycles, and vehicles for people with reduced mobility, it is smaller: 13 cm high by 10 cm wide.
