Question 6482
On an autovía, you are allowed to drive…
- an animal-drawn vehicle.
- a moped.
- a special vehicle.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: a special vehicle.
A special vehicle, such as a tractor or construction machine, may travel on a high-capacity divided highway (autovía) if it does not exceed the maximum masses and dimensions, can exceed 60 km/h on level ground, and meets the conditions set for it. If it exceeds those masses or dimensions, it may enter only if its supplementary authorization allows it. Mopeds and animal-drawn vehicles are prohibited on high-capacity divided highways in all cases.
