Question 6481
On a freeway (autopista) with three lanes in the same direction, which one must you normally use?
- Any of them.
- The center lane or the right lane, interchangeably.
- The right lane.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: The right lane.
The right lane, like the blue car in the picture. On a freeway with several lanes in your direction, you normally drive in the right lane and use the center or left lane when traffic or road conditions call for it, for example, to pass or take an exit on the left. The same applies when the freeway runs through a built-up area.
