The maximum speed, as a general rule, for a special vehicle is...
- 60 kilometers per hour.
- 45 kilometers per hour.
- 40 kilometers per hour.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: 40 kilometers per hour.
Outside built-up areas, a special vehicle generally has a maximum speed of 40 km/h. There are exceptions with limits of 25 km/h, for example when towing a trailer, and 70 for those that can exceed 60 on level ground and meet the applicable regulations.
