Question 6198

This panel placed below a traffic sign...

  1. warns the driver of adverse conditions such as snow, fog, or rain.
  2. is a supplementary panel for the traffic sign and indicates fog.
  3. warns of the presence of signage.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: is a supplementary panel for the traffic sign and indicates fog.

This panel, showing a car between bands of fog, supplements the sign above it and indicates that the sign applies only in fog. In the image, it is below the reduced visibility sign. The panel does not itself warn of snow, fog or rain; it limits when the sign applies.
