Question 6037
Among other places, where is parking prohibited in an urban area?
- On roads designated for preferential attention.
- At changes in road grade and near crosswalks.
- On sidewalks and walkways intended for pedestrians.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: On sidewalks and walkways intended for pedestrians.
You must not park on sidewalks, walkways, or other pedestrian areas, as the gray SUV in the image is doing. Parking at a change in road grade is prohibited when visibility is reduced. Near a crosswalk, parking is prohibited within the 6 meters before it, or within 3 meters if the sidewalk extends to the lane. On a road designated for priority attention, parking is prohibited in the marked spaces.
