Question 6024

Smoking while driving...

  1. is recommended, because it helps maintain attention.
  2. is prohibited.
  3. is not recommended, because it can affect your attention while driving.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: is not recommended, because it can affect your attention while driving.

It is not recommended. Looking for the lighter, lighting the cigarette, tapping off the ash, and putting it out take your attention away from driving. While lighting it, like the driver in the picture, you steer with only one hand. Traffic rules do not prohibit smoking while driving, but smoking does not help you concentrate either.
