Question 6009
When entering traffic, you must…
- yield the right-of-way to other vehicles.
- do so as quickly as possible.
- avoid doing so without the position lights on.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: yield the right-of-way to other vehicles.
When entering traffic, like the red passenger car pulling out from between the parked cars in the image, you must yield to vehicles already on the road. Pulling out quickly does not excuse you from that obligation.
