Question 5735

Smoking while driving...

  1. It is advisable, because it helps maintain attention.
  2. It is absolutely prohibited.
  3. It is not advisable, because it can affect driving safety.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: It is not advisable, because it can affect driving safety.

It is not advisable. Lighting the cigarette, holding it, tapping off the ash, and putting it out distract you, and the smoke irritates your eyes. While holding it, like the driver in the picture, you have only one hand on the wheel. Traffic rules do not prohibit smoking while driving, and tobacco does not help you stay attentive.
