Question 5700
On this conventional road (carretera convencional) without shoulders, what is the abnormally low speed for a passenger car?
- 45 kilometers per hour.
- Less than 45 kilometers per hour.
- 60 kilometers per hour.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: Less than 45 kilometers per hour.
On conventional roads (carretera convencional), a passenger car has a general maximum speed of 90 km/h and a minimum of 45, half that. Driving at exactly 45 is allowed; going below that without a valid reason is considered an abnormally low speed. The absence of a shoulder does not change these figures.
