Question 5519

According to the latest crash figures, which days of the week record the highest number of people injured in traffic accidents?

  1. None, since the accident rate is very low on a weekly basis.
  2. Mondays and Tuesdays.
  3. Weekends.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: Weekends.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are the most dangerous days, along with public holidays and the days before them. Return trips at the end of the weekend and Saturday nights out contribute to this. There are fewer people injured or killed during the week, and Tuesday has the fewest deaths.
