Question 5424
What is the maximum speed at which a motorhome with a maximum authorized mass (MMA) over 3,500 kg is allowed to travel on a high-capacity divided highway (autovía)?
- At 90 km/h.
- At 100 km/h, which may be exceeded by 20 km/h to pass another vehicle.
- At 100 km/h.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: At 90 km/h.
With a maximum authorized mass over 3,500 kg, a motorhome has a maximum speed of 90 km/h on a high-capacity divided highway (autovía) outside built-up areas. The 100 km/h limit does not apply to it, and there is no allowance of an extra 20 km/h for passing.
