Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: During the time slot that coincides with school dismissal.
Most collisions in which children are hit by vehicles happen when school lets out, at the end of classes. Children leave distracted and have little awareness of the risk, and they are also harder to see. In the image, a mother is waiting with two children to use the crosswalk.
