Question 5192
You should know that the 112 emergency services number...
- is a reduced-rate service and mobile phone coverage is needed to access it.
- is free and, in some cases, can be accessed without mobile phone coverage.
- is free in some Autonomous Communities and paid in others.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: is free and, in some cases, can be accessed without mobile phone coverage.
Calling 112 is free throughout Spain, with no differences in charges between autonomous communities. You can also call even if your carrier has no coverage there, as long as another carrier does. If no carrier has coverage, the call will not go through.
