Question 4913
What does this sign indicate?
- That there is a gas station.
- Toll freeway.
- That you must stop before proceeding.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: That you must stop before proceeding.
The horizontal bar in a red-bordered circle () requires you to stop at the checkpoint ahead, here a police checkpoint. You must not continue until you have met the checkpoint's requirements; at a police checkpoint, until the officers let you proceed. The same sign is used at toll booths and customs checkpoints.
