Question 4784

What does the left arrow on the sign indicate?

  1. That driving on the left shoulder is mandatory.
  2. That in the upcoming section, the left lane branches off.
  3. It requires you to follow the direction of the arrow at the next intersection.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: That in the upcoming section, the left lane branches off.

The sign shows three lanes in your direction, and only the left arrow curves to the left. Farther ahead, the left lane separates from the others and heads in another direction. If you are in it and do not want to take that branch, change lanes in plenty of time.
