Question 4641

What do these signs indicate?

  1. That it is prohibited to drive faster than 60 km/h at the intersection.
  2. That it is mandatory to drive at 60 km/h.
  3. That it is prohibited to drive faster than 60 km/h on the entire road.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: That it is prohibited to drive faster than 60 km/h at the intersection.

The 60 indicates the maximum speed, and you may drive more slowly. Since it is on the same pole as the sign warning of the intersection, it stops applying once you have passed the intersection, with no need for an end-of-restriction sign.
