Question 4622

What are you required to carry in your vehicle if the result of the periodic vehicle inspection is favorable?

  1. The ITV accreditation sticker and the inspection report.
  2. The accreditation sticker on the left side of the windshield and the ITV card.
  3. Only the stamped vehicle inspection card.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: The ITV accreditation sticker and the inspection report.

When your vehicle passes its ITV inspection, the station gives you the V-19 sticker and the inspection report. In a car, the sticker goes on the inside of the windshield, in the upper right corner, not the left. You must carry the report in the vehicle because officers may ask you for it. The stamped ITV card does not replace the sticker.
