Question 4499
In a road work zone you come across a temporary directional panel. What does it indicate?
- The presence of a curve and its direction in a road work zone.
- It warns of danger from the road work.
- It prohibits passage and indicates the direction of traffic.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: It prohibits passage and indicates the direction of traffic.
The temporary directional panel prohibits you from driving through the spot where it is placed, and its arrows show you which way traffic continues. In the image, two panels with arrows pointing right close the left lane, so you continue in the lanes to their right. Sign warns of road work, while permanent directional panels mark a curve.
