Question 4385
On this road with three separate roadways, which roadway must you drive on?
- On the right roadway and on the center roadway when signs allow me to do so.
- Only on the right roadway.
- Only on the center roadway.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: On the right roadway and on the center roadway when signs allow me to do so.
On a road with three roadways, each outer roadway carries traffic in one direction, and you must use the one on your right. The center roadway may carry traffic in both directions or just one, permanently or temporarily, and you may enter it only when signs allow you to. In the image, a panel with green arrows allows only vehicles with two or more occupants to use the BUS-VAO roadway. So you are neither limited to the right roadway nor required to use the center one.
