Question 4312
As a general rule, making a U-turn is prohibited when...
- passing is prohibited, unless the U-turn is authorized.
- you cannot move forward.
- you are approaching a railroad crossing.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: passing is prohibited, unless the U-turn is authorized.
As a general rule, you must not make a U-turn on any section where passing is prohibited, unless a sign expressly authorizes the U-turn. The area near a railroad crossing is one such section, but the general rule is the one about passing.
