Question 4135

What does this sign mean?

  1. It indicates that you are approaching an area with snow on the roadway.
  2. That in case of snow you must not exceed the indicated speed.
  3. It warns that there may be ice on the roadway.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: That in case of snow you must not exceed the indicated speed.

The panel with snowflakes below the 80 speed limit indicates that the limit applies only when there is snow. In snowy conditions, you must not exceed 80 km/h. The panel does not warn of snow or ice ahead; that hazard is indicated by a triangle with a red border.
