Question 4027

If you see the police vehicle shown in the photograph in your rearview mirror, what must you do?

  1. Stop the vehicle immediately.
  2. Stop the vehicle on the right side, in front of the police car, without creating risks for other road users.
  3. Increase speed, since it is indicating that I am driving slowly.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: Stop the vehicle on the right side, in front of the police car, without creating risks for other road users.

Stop on the right, in front of the police car, without endangering others. That is what the police car’s forward-facing flashing red light orders you to do. Don’t slam on the brakes wherever you are or speed up.
