Question 3965

Driving in a lane in the direction opposite to the usual one...

  1. requires at least the low beams to be on.
  2. is reserved only for passenger cars.
  3. is not subject to a speed limit.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: requires at least the low beams to be on.

In a lane opened to traffic in the opposite direction from usual, you must keep at least your low beams on, day and night. Speed is also restricted to between 60 and 80 km/h, or lower if a sign indicates it. Besides passenger cars, motorcycles may use it when it is opened to improve traffic flow, and all vehicles allowed on that road may use it when it is opened because of roadwork.
