Question 3947
The effects that LSD has on a driver's behavior...
- can last as long as about 10 or 12 hours after taking it.
- produce a state of relaxation that makes driving safer.
- are very mild and disappear about 40 minutes after taking it.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: can last as long as about 10 or 12 hours after taking it.
The effects of LSD last about 10 or 12 hours, much longer than those of other drugs, and are intense. It causes hallucinations and distorts what you see. Far from relaxing you, it can cause anxiety and even panic behind the wheel. The effects can also suddenly return days later, when you already feel normal again.
