Question 3888
On a two-way road, on which side of the traffic island must you drive?
- On the side of the roadway to the right.
- On the side of the roadway to the left.
- On either side.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: On the side of the roadway to the right.
On a two-way road, you must pass to the right of the traffic island; going to the left would put you in oncoming traffic. The blue keep-right sign in the image shows this. On a one-way road, you may pass on either side.
