Question 3716

You are driving your passenger car on a road where this restriction sign appears with a yellow panel indicating that travel is not permitted for...

  1. Any vehicle over 3,500 kg.
  2. Trucks with a maximum authorized mass (MMA) of less than 3,500 kg or vehicle combinations.
  3. Trucks with a maximum authorized mass (MMA) of more than 3,500 kg or tractor-trailer combinations.
Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: Trucks with a maximum authorized mass (MMA) of more than 3,500 kg or tractor-trailer combinations.

The yellow panel on sign prohibits trucks with a maximum authorized mass (MMA) exceeding 3,500 kg and tractor-trailer combinations from using the road. The restriction does not apply to every vehicle merely because it exceeds that weight.
