Question 182
A grid of yellow markings painted on the road indicates…
- That you may not cross the intersection.
- That you must not enter the intersection if you could end up stopped in it, obstructing traffic.
- That parking is prohibited.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: That you must not enter the intersection if you could end up stopped in it, obstructing traffic.
The yellow grid reminds you not to enter if you expect to stop within it and block crossing traffic. This obligation still applies even if you have the right-of-way.
