A grid of yellow markings painted on the road indicates…
- That parking is prohibited.
- That you must not enter the intersection if you could end up stopped in it, obstructing traffic.
- That you may not cross the intersection.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: That you must not enter the intersection if you could end up stopped in it, obstructing traffic.
The yellow grid reminds you not to enter if you expect to become stopped inside it and block cross traffic, even if you have the right-of-way.
