Question 1170
A passenger car towing a trailer with a maximum authorized mass (MMA) of less than 750 kg is traveling on a high-capacity divided highway (autovía). What is the maximum permitted speed?
- 90 km/h.
- 80 km/h.
- 70 km/h.
Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: 90 km/h.
Passenger cars towing trailers have a general speed limit of 90 km/h on a high-capacity divided highway. A trailer’s maximum authorized mass (MMA) of less than 750 kg does not change that limit.
